“Insight Julie’s heart”

My dearest friends,

With X-ray vision one can see the inside of a person. I have no x-ray vision, but I was able to see into the heart of Julie and observe one of the most beautiful hearts I've ever seen in my life.

It's as if nothing else existed in Julie Marie but an innocent girl, immaculate, honest, pure, like a virgin, undefiled, spotless, tender and humble at heart.

It seems as if I am dealing with a soul without a past, which in fact is the case of Julie in Jesus. Her past does not exist for me. My life had a new beginning at the time I met her.

I did not know it was possible to live again a life free of history, a future without a past, without a skeleton in the closet, a present without prejudice as a newborn baby enjoying a new life, a new form of service, a new obedience in a new day under clear sky.

It is my honor and privilege to introduce to you my future wife to be Mrs. Julie Marie Gutierrez as from September 28, 2013. Thereafter Julie Marie will be a missionary of Mission to the World.

Pray for her and all of the tests to which she is subjected as my future wife: Psychological tests, examinations in theology, cultural assessment, language training, emotional and intellectual preparation and other assessments that will be difficult for her.

She has already met my Pastors, Ruling Elders my CEO of Mission to the World and other senior staff. They all seem to like Julie very much which pleases me tremendously.

In a few days we will enter marriage counseling.

When I show my concern and sympathy for Julie, she responded by saying: ”Let them come all or one by one. It will be my opportunity to bear witness to the grace and love of Jesus in my life. I will just be myself”.

Being the wife of a missionary of Mission to the World is not easy as you can see. No wonder then why I could not even find or think of anyone able to survive strict scrutiny. (I hope with all my heart to be understood in this regard with mercy and kindness).

The ceremony will be at Westminster PCA, which is Julie’s Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Pray for us that the Lord will guide us and do His will only. We are in need of much prayer as we only pursue the glory of God and want to do it well. All my children and grandchildren will be traveling to the event from abroad and other states.

PS: Julie is very eager to start our new work in Peru, and the world.
