Gerry & Julie Gutierrez' Update
Becoming the Spectator of Your Own Life.
March 24, 2016, 4:30 AM - The Lord's Prayer.
ŇOnce the LordŐs Prayer bring you into alignment with God,
there is nothing that you want or need that you will not have itÓ.
All things are a prayer away. All things are yes in Jesus.
Nothing is impossible for him who believes.
Your will and the will of God become one and the same thing.
Prayer is agreeing with God, whereby you no longer live but Jesus in you.
For you to live is Christ and to die is gain. It cannot be any other way for you.
As Jesus said you will do greater things than Him.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life.
For you, only greater good is around every corner.
At times it may not look like it, but you will live to see how all things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according his purposes.
You will become a true persecuted of God.
You will not be able to run away from blessings on every side.
You will say with Job, Ňeven if it kills me I will trust in him.Ó
You'll never be killed because you come into this world to die.
And when you die your death will be gain.
Blessed is he who by faith and prayer comes to agreement with the ever-prevailing will of God according to the mind of Jesus revealed in the scripture.
He will go from glory to glory, from strength to strength.
All because his life is in alignment with God he has become the spectator of his own life.
No mount of earthly powers to live twisted dreams of blurred vision will be a temptation for such a man.
No amount of wealth, fame or fortune will cause such a man to take a second look as David did to a woman taking a bath on the roof of her house.
No earthly pleasures well entice such a man who is on his way to the banquet.
A man who by prayer agrees with God and his will, he has claimed the ladder of SolomonŐs reasoning, has seen the visions of JohnŐs revelation and like a Steven had a glance of the son of God standing by the throng ready to welcome him and will not be intimidated by anyone or anything.
To this kind of man the gates of hell are further behind and the Cherubim has stepped aside concealing behind his back the flaming sword at the pearly gates.
To him death is an escort and the Cherubim a greeter at the house of his father. To him suffering and testing are but a toothless lion seeking to destroy him. This man has lived long enough to know that fear and danger typical of old people, are opportunities to see and feel the comforting presence of the shepherd of his soul protecting from danger, that will not come close to him that the Lord will not be closer.
This man is not only the spectator of his own life, but to become the spectator of the life of his enemies who come against him, only to fall before him.
PS. Being saved by the LordŐs Prayer.
Matthew 6:9–13 "Pray then like this: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"
